Little Sage Ranch LLC
2025 Mule Deer Hunting Dates and Packages
Out of concern for the conservation of this species, we have decided to give muley’s a break from hunting again this year. This means that we are suspending mule deer hunting on Little Sage Ranch at present. For the past few years, we have monitored our local herd with game cameras and visual observations. Putting it all together, a small herd of mule deer bucks and does spends a lot of time browsing our forests and pastures. The herd appears to be young. We estimate they are between 1.5 and 3.5 years old at most. A small buck herd of seven deer spent most of the summer browsing various parts of the ranch. Bucks and does would disappear for several weeks, but always returned.
This summer, we will continuing monitoring our mule deer with the goal of identifying new fawns and any other, more mature deer. In the event that conditions are favorable for a mule deer hunt, we have included an Archery walk-in hunt below. Subscribe to our news letter for updated information.
