Walk-in Turkey Package Information

• Call or email Mike at (540) 533-8847  or mike@littlesageranch.com to obtain an application package.
• Parking.  Parking at west corrals off Deep Creek Road.
• No dogs.  We love dogs, but do not permit them in the field during hunting season and when grazing.
• Guest hunters must possess a valid Nebraska Turkey hunting permit and habit stamp as required by the Nebraska Game and Parks Turkey Guide
• Bag Limit.  One turkey in accordance with bag and possession limit of your Nebraska Turkey Hunting permit.
• Safety. Walk-in hunters must complete a Ranch Safety & Orientation Briefing (45 min) prior to the day of hunting.  A hard copy map showing wildlife preserve area and contact information will be provided.  Call (540-) 533-8847 to schedule.
• Daily HQ Check-in.  On the day of the hunt, walk in hunters must check in with the HQ by calling (540) 433-8847 to let us know when you are starting and where you plan to hunt.  We also need to know when you plan to quit hunting for the day.
• Hospitality Refreshments. Daily refreshments and snacks at Ranch HQ includes coffee, tea, bottled water, and assorted granola bars, raisins and apples are offered from 5:00am through 6:oopm.
• No Smoking or Campfires.  No smoking outside of parking area or the HQ area. Use of campfire or camp stoves is not permitted anywhere on ranch property.  We do offer use of the ranch house microwave if you need to warm up something for breakfast or lunch.
• Off Road Vehicles.  Use of 4-wheelers or All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) is prohibited.
• We Hunt Fair Chase.  Little Sage Ranch hunting is fair chase.
• Firearm Safety. No loaded firearms within the HQ or Parking Areas.  Due to fall risks over uneven terrain, we ask hunters to walk into & out of their hunting site with an unloaded firearm.  Firearm safety is top priority!
• Payment in full required NLT June 15th to confirm reservations.
